Our certifications

  • DERMATOLOGICALLY TESTED

All BIOKOSMO products are subjected to patch tests, i.e. occlusive tests carried out on a group of voluntary people which are carried out at accredited laboratories. This allows us to guarantee the absolute skin compatibility of all our cosmetics.

  • MADE IN ITALY

Our cosmetic line is characterized by creativity, innovation and elegance, combined with the production quality typical of Italian excellence. All BIOKOSMO products are processed in Italy; even herbs that come from other countries are analyzed, mixed and packaged in Italy.

  • CPNP

All BIOKOSMO products are notified to the European portal CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) before being placed on the market, according to Regulation (EC) no. 1223/2009. 1223/2009.

  • NICKEL TESTED

All BIOKOSMO products are Nickel Tested <1PPM. This indicates that specific analyzes have been carried out to ensure that the nickel inside the product, if present, is below the infinitesimal value of 1PPM, i.e. one part per million. A Nickel Tested < 1PPM product is a product in which the presence of nickel is below the minimum risk threshold, even for the most extreme cases of allergy.

  • NATURAL INCI

The INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) represents the composition of a cosmetic product, listing the ingredients in decreasing order of concentration. In the formulation of BIOKOSMO products, only ingredients of vegetal origin are used, 100% eco-bio compatible, with full respect for the environment and the person.

ITA (Italian Trade Agency) is the body through which the government implements initiatives aimed at consolidating Italy’s presence in foreign markets. Biokosmo collaborates with ITA to promote its exclusively Italian products abroad, thus supporting the image and quality of the Made in Italy brand on the international scene.

  • VEGANOK

This certification represents part of our ethics and our commitment to environmental sustainability. Obtaining the Vegan OK certification guarantees transparency for our customers, confirming that Biokosmo – Italian Roots formulas do not contain substances of animal origin nor ingredients directly involved in animal exploitation.
